On this last day of 2014, I find myself reflecting on the year, and wanted to share with you some thoughts. Make an effort to reflect on what you accomplished and achieved this past year. We naturally tend to focus on what we didn’t do, and beat ourselves up for not achieving it, however, by taking the time to acknowledge what you did do, and spend a moment thinking about what you are grateful for, the more you will have to be thankful for in 2015.
In addition, don’t forget to identify what is truly the most valuable to you in your life and let go of the low priority things. When you know what you want, give yourself permission to make the time for it. By concentrating on it, you begin to master your life. Remember, when you do what is truly meaningful to you, you make a difference, build momentum and have more inspiration. This leads to more gratitude which is a catalyst to more greatness in life.
At the end of your life, you want to be able to say that you did everything you could, with everything you were given. You are an extraordinary human being, and you have what it takes to be successful by doing what is meaningful to you. Make what is valuable to you your focus, and give yourself permission to shine.
