LIFE IS SHORT: If you are reading this, you are in the process of living the one life that you have been given – and whether you like it or not, there will come a day when you will not have this life. The crazy thing about life is that you don’t know when your time on earth will be complete. You may have fair warning. You may not.
I’ve already written my obituary as well as my posthumous biography. I update it often and read it weekly. As morbid as that might sound I have a purpose for doing this. If I know there is an end to my life, the days that I am living become more valuable and purpose-filled. If I know what I want to be remembered for, I know how I want to live and what I want to contribute while I still can.
I invite you to ask yourself these three questions:
1. Am I alive in my life? If not, make it your immediate mission to resurrect yourself before you really die.
2. Who do I love and do they know that I love them? Don’t use “they know how I feel” as an excuse. What if they don’t?
3. What do I want to be remembered for? This is a great question that can guide you towards how you want to live.
