Have you found that in some cases it takes a crisis or extreme desperation to make a major change? When we can no longer tolerate the situation, or are not fulfilled by what we are doing, or by the people that we are with, we reach a tipping point where we are willing to go through the pain and uncertainty involved in making changes.
When will you have the courage to make a change? When the pain of staying in the same place overrides the pain of taking action, and the uncertainty about the future matters less than the certainty of the present. You are ripe for change if you no longer feel fulfilled by what you are doing, are tired of your situation or are uninspired on a daily basis.
The question to ask yourself: Is it a change in situation, or a change in attitude that you need right now?
