At the deepest core of every human being is one sole desire — to be loved, valued, and appreciated for who they are. No one wants to be loved conditionally. Yet, its easy to put subtle conditions on those you love based on your desire to fix or control them. Certainly you do love them, but do you also silently or verbally judge them?
Loving someone for who they are means to make a choice to accept the whole of them, not only the good parts, but all the parts. Though it takes courage to let go of your ego and judgment, by unconditionally loving them you beautifully fuel their soul and illuminate their spirit. Loving someone this way is one of the most precious gifts you can give to another human being, including yourself.
