More and more, my clients are complaining about how tired and unmotivated they feel these days, even though they have adapted well to the mandatory work-life reorganization. I recently learned about “The Pandemic Wall” and see its effects in many.
What is it? It’s the feeling that we are dragging like never before, coupled with more anxiety, insomnia, worsening memory, and a lack of energy and motivation. It is basically due to a big adrenaline crash from almost a year of an over-activated stress system. What to do? Cut yourself some slack, take more breaks, and embrace the fact that nothing about all this is easy. Your fatigue is a valid response to these rare circumstances.
