Even though there may be a particular person – a boss, co-worker, child or friend who stresses you out, it’s helpful to ask yourself whether you too may be perceived as a source of their stress. Since many of our stressful situations involve other people, it’s wise to think twice about our judgments.
We create stress when come from a place of ego and exaggerate our judgments of others. When we take the time to reflect and see that we also can be a pain in the neck to others in ways we didn’t previously consider, it’s easier to find center. The more reflective you are, the more realistic your expectations of others will be and the less stress you will accumulate.
